Howdy fellas. Just wondering what people are using for rings on the CASM mounts. I've got a Bushnell 3200 Tactical Elite coming in the mail , and would like to get it as low as possible. I had a Leupold VX-1 in medium rings on it just to try out and I had to put quite a bit of material under my cheek to get a good sight picture. Also, with the infamously violent action of the M14 platform, I'd like some solid rings that aren't going to go anywhere (and if possible, avoid breaking the bank in the process ).

No matter what, with this platform you will have to get a good cheek riser if you are going to use a scope.

I just bought a few sets of rings and will use what ever suits the scope the best

I am currently playing with the UTG max strength quick detach, low profile.

The Bushnell 3200 has a 40.5 mm bell. I have about the same and run a set of medium height Leupold rings. The limiting factor is how far back you will need to mount the scope to get the correct eye relief. I think that with the published relief of the Bushnell, you will have to mount the scope fairly far back which will make the bell sit very close to the front edge of the CASM.

I think mediums will still fit but YMMV.

I've got 1" low vortex hunter rings on my cask mount with the same scope that you're ordering. I love it, but I do lose my iron sights due to the bell of the scope obstructing my view of the front sight post.

Second on the leupold mediums with a bushnell 3200 series.
I don't have it on a casm but the rifle it's on has a rail continuing past the scope (troy battlerail) and it clearances

I am using Leupold low QRW rings on mine with a Leupold Mark AR 3-9x40 scope. You will likely want a cheekpiece that raises the comb at least 1".
