CASM Steel scope Mount issues

Don't weld a M1aNM, its not a cheap work in progress Norc. Worst case if you cannot get the mount to install straight find an Arms18 on the EE, or order a Promag from Jerry at Mystic precision.
 
DONT weld it in place .....Burris signature zee rings come with inserts that can move your point of impact 20 -30 moa in any direction you want .
Great rings at a good price.
 
A promag stock? Or is there a promag scope mount? I only found a promag stock online and no longer on mystic precision website. A new stock will not help me with this scope mount. I like the design of the casm, it's just not aligned. What are the reasons not to weld it? I don't like the burris zee rings. Looks like they won't hold when my rifle gets beaten around in the boat while narwhal hunting. Or on my qamutik when I'm seal hunting
 
US optics makes the best windage adjustable rings I've seen. Buddy of mine runs them on his long range rifle. Don't know where you'd get them or how much they cost, but if your looking for adjustable and bullet proof, those would be the ones to have.

Promag scope mount, it's a knock off of the original arms18 split mount. I had one on a Norc and it mounted well and held zero excellent!
 
I'm very hesitant with knock offs. Not sure what else to do because narwhal hunting season is coming up and this is my go to rifle.
