Cast 125gr.356RN 9mm in .38sp?

Since I have the mould here I was wondering about using some unsized 125gr RN 9mm boolets (aprox .358)in a .38sp. My mould drops a bit on the fat side most of the time and I have data in my Lyman book for 125gr RNFP in .38sp so my thought was to use that data with the 9mm RN.

Any problem with that with the boolets being the same weight and similar shape? I was going to follow the COL suggested in the book for the test loads.

Won't be any problem unless they are undersize for your throats or bore--which will likely result in leading or poor accuracy. I often go the other way and use .38 spl or 38 super bullets in the 9mm's--often gives better accuracy.

I have a convertible Ruger Blackhawk 9mm/357 that leads like crazy with 9mm (.356) cast. I just have to remember to put a couple of jacketed rounds through at the end. It wipes most of the lead out.
