Cast Bullet in 6.5 Creedmoor ?

Has anybody had success in shooting Cast bullets with gas check in the 6.5 Creedmoor.

Should work great! There is a cast bullet forum (Castboolits?) and they shoot those things in everything. I haven’t shot cast in 6.5mm but sure have in 7mm. Once you start shooting cast it opens up a whole new world of reloading and fun.

Works well. Not any different than 6.5 Swede or Carcano. Alliant 2400 under a 140 gr GC bullet.

Absolutely viable to do, plenty of bullet choices, lots of powder choices, I'd be happy shooting to 300 with one, I wouldn't waste effort on trying to get over 1500fps or so with it for the range. For hunting I'd take it up to 2000-2100 or so and keep things to 200yds. Or rig up a chicken load with cast to suit POI same as regular hunting load at 25yds.
