Ok but that wasn't my point. You stated that you weren't able to achieve the same accuracy using the other plated bullets so I suggested you give another make a try to compare.

I was given 1K Fromtier 230gr RN .45s but because of the poor performance of previous plated bullets I haven't tried them. When it warms up enough I will try them at 50 yards and report back!
In your opinion what is the most accurate .45 that Frontier Makes?

The only ones I have tried is the RN 230gr.

always plated, the money savings isn't that much if you are buying them and its more pleasant to shoot. Also I hate cleaning my guns so that also scews my decision.
