Cast bullets in the East kootnays

Anybody know a good source for hard cast gas checked bullets in the kootnay area?
Nothing here. What have you got for gun shops in the East Kootenays anyways? Mountain Man and Outfitter...

Your best bet is to deal with Curt Thomas at BDX in High River, buy in bulk, pick them up and make it part of a weekend trip to Calgary or whatever. You can see what Wholesale Sports has in Calgary or Lethbridge, but you're going to find it pretty hard to beat Curt on either quality or pricing. You'll find Curt by doing a google search on "Canadian BDX"

However, depends on what you mean regarding "hard cast". What do you mean by "hard" in terms of BNH, and do you need "hard" to begin with?

Exactly why Im asking around here...

Im a real newbee when it comes to cast bullets, so I don't really know about BNH. I guess Ive just heard "hard cast" thrown around so much I used it:redface:. Im looking for heavy 45-70 bullets that I can load to relatively high velocities in my ruger for good penetration (eg. bear/moose hunting)
