I bought a used .375 Winchester and am trying to find a cast load that works. A Lyman 248 gr mold came with the rifle along with a .375 sizer. I wasn't getting any accuracy so I got a .377 sizer. That helped a bit. I was just looking in the Lee catalogue and noticed their .375 mold was .379 diam. I don't have any unsized bullets to check but am wondering what diameter the Lyman bullet is. The jacketed bullets are .375 diam. so .379 seems very large. Would anyone know what size the Lyman bullet would be as cast? I'm shooting .312 cast in my .303 Savage so I guess .379 would work OK in the .375.

I have that Lyman mould and mine casts at .379 which is perfect in the old Winchester 38-55 that I have but might be a little large for your .375.

-The best thing to do with this rifle is have the barrel slugged to give an Idea of barrel size. Then usually 1 to 2 thousand over groove diameter seems to work best.

I have just started using the RCBS 255 gr FNGC as cast diameter in a Marlin 375. Working well with 31 gr 3031. Reloader7 is showing promise also.
