Casting 5.56 bullets ?

Im wondering if you can cast 5.56 bullets and powdercoat them? Will it foul up the gas tube in the AR15, or have accuracy issues?

I have the mould but not the time lately. Another guy on the PC thread was going to post review of his attempts but never did. So I'm interested as well.
