I cast 5000 45 cal 200 gr swc with a lee bullet mold a year. Lee 20 lb bottom pour, no issues if you keep the spout clear. Lee 6 cavity mold work great if you burn off the machining oils then coat the entire mold with spray on graphite. No spawling from the sprue or anything sticking to the mold. Occasionally give it a graphite spray to maintain the coating around moving parts. I have 22 lee molds.
Coating the bullets with Lee liquid alox I find works best with a thin plastic to dump the coated bullets on. I let them dry for a day the shift them around to expose the wet parts to drying. I then let them dry for a month before reloading. Clean your bullet seating die every 500 reloads or so. Alox builds up in the die. Noticeable by the deeper seating depth.
Lubing I give the bullets a thinned down coating, run them through my lee lube sizer and recoat with full strenght lee liquid alox. Let dry for a month, reload.
