casting for 9mm

Aw ok...thanks for that simple yet informative answer. Well my bullets fired ok mind you I'm not the greatest shooter and I'm sure the Shadow can outshoot me any day of the week. I loaded 3.2 gr of Titegroup with OAL of 1.092 as per recommended by fellow member. Shot them at 25 yds. Haven't checked the barrel yet to see what it's like inside ( leading ) but will later. I think with some sleep and not working the nightshift before shooting might improve accuracy....hahaha maybe.
What technique did you use to shoot them? If you fired them freehand you are wasting your time as the results will only be as good as the shooter's ability. The only way to get a true indication of the load's accuracy is to shoot from a solid rest. And unless it is a properly adjusted Ransom Rest even that is not perfect as it is still subject to the vagaries of the shooter's technique (accurate sighting, trigger squeeze, grip, etc.) but it is far better than blasting away unsupported. i can't count the number of times I have seen guys fire target after target freehand with poor results and blame the gun or the load when, in fact, it was their lack of skill.

Use a solid rest and take your time. Shoot no more than 10 shot groups. Even better, get a friend who is a known good shooter and let them fire the loads for you. That will give you a true indication of how good (or bad) the loads are. If they are still all over the place after that then the loads are likely to blame. In probably 90% of the cases, however, it is either the shooter or the gun.

Funny you say that because everytime I go I forget my rest to shoot from. I will definitely try it again but this time not free hand.

BTW I didn't in any way intend to demean your shooting ability. My point was simply that even the best shooters will be more accurate and consistent using a rest than shooting freehand.
