Casting Hollow points

I have lapped mine that's all I ever have done and I never fight with my pins. I noticed my noe mould pins had very very slight machine marks on them. I put them in my drill used 3000 grit wet dry to mirror finish them and finished off with a light run of lapping compound. Then cleaned the moulds thoroughly after with dish soap/ water solution using toothbrush and scrubbing it good. Never had a sticky hp again. They want to fall from my pins. šŸ˜Ž

Top pic is 44 magnum out of the 225 gr hp noe. Than second pic is 45/70 out of my 385 gr hp noe mould. Love them. I got 9mm,45, 45/70,44,357,308 cal hp moulds. And I love every single one.

Beautiful examples of HPs. That is the goal! Next set of days off I'm planning on taking the advice posted and giving it a go. Thanks for the "show and tell"
