One lb is 7000 grains, right? So 7000gr of lead (shipped) for 3.50$+tx? Do I see right?

I think you need $300 worth of lead so 1# = 7000grains is correct
So you would need to buy 86# to get free shipping which equals $301

For one pound you would still be paying freight. But other than that your math is correct.

So assuming 125gr of lead per 9mm bullet, that's 56 bullet per 3.5$, or 6.25¢ per bullet. Campro's 9mm are >10¢/bullet. I'm not into casting my own bullets, but looking at the numbers, I'm wondering why. Actually I'm wondering why I'm keeping my day job instead of just getting into the bullet business. But that's a topic for another day.
