The Combat Application Tourniquet® (C-A-T®) has been the primary combat tourniquet issued to deployed Canadian Forces soldiers since 2005.

Simple one handed application for self-aid Gen 7 Compact and lightweight New & improved increased strength windlass rod

The free moving internal band provides circumferential pressure to the extremity with a windlass tightening system.

The C-A-T® utilizes an improved strength windlass rod to prevent breakage even in extreme circumstances.

Approved by the Canadian CCCWG (Combat Casualty Care Working Group) and the US CoTCCC (Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care)
