Yep, it's a D40. I got two of them at basspro this summer when they where on sale for $90. I could really get into this trail cam thing, it is almost more fun than hunting.
 
theres no cure for you. I started the same, bought 2 D40's. Now I own 5 trail cameras. Going to start building homebrews. Yup, I've got an addiction. LOL

do cougar take down moose that size?

i just ordered a moultrie 5mp infrared flash cam and cant wait to test her out. knowing my luck someone is going to steal it the same day i put it out:rolleyes:
 
I imagine a 200lb male cougar could if he really wanted to, theres pictures floating around of a cougar taking a very large bull elk down. Its got its teeth sunk into the elks juggular and claws around its neck holding on while the elk is struggling to walk threw deep snow.

Thats not a small cougar... Not HUGE, but I would be concerned
