Caught the 1911 Bug! Help!

Got my new grips for the Ruger. But might slap it on the SW instead and sell the Crimson trace grips.

Yeah, well it looks like you're pretty much screwed - forget savings, positive bank balances and credit cards with room on them, before you know it you'll be justifying spending the cost of a small car on a Wilson, and telling people that $4K was really a bargain. Just like a lot of other poor souls on here :D

Any cure to this madness? Just picked up my 2nd 1911 and I'm already planning on my third :(
250rounds count on the SR1911. Will be taking both to the range tomorrow. Not sure if I'll be using the S&W as much as the Ruger.

Watch out for the AR virus. I've got them both. No cure in sight. The only treatment is to throw buckets of cash at your parts supplier/gun dealer.

1911-itis is a terrible thing. I've heard it causes lack of sleep, fighting among family, skipping out of work early to get the mail, etc. I just hope I never catch it.

Deadman I think you need to check....you probably already have it and just don't know it.

As for the OP....sorry to hear about your issue. Nothing I can do for you i'm afraid, I have it myself and one of the symptoms is that I tend to enthusiastically encourage others to keep on. Its like scratching an itch.

re 1911

Really like the Ruger also believe in Ruger Please tell me where I can obtain one and what is the cost ? Dale

Well, Saturday I was diagnosed with this sudden illness, Saturday afternoon I discovered the cure!!!!

It is in the mail, hopfully the cure arrives before the long weekend!!!

I'm trying a radical new treatment for this ailment, figured I'd give myself a big shot of Glockacillin. Its new to me, we'll see if my body rejects it. I suspect its not a cure, more like chewing nicorette.
