I just stocked up on AE .223, $280 for 1000 + tax
Well a couple weeks ago actually. 1 day sale.
 
Gagnon website showing 3 of the AE bulk packs available, I ordered one, but its still charging me tax. Also, after I ordered it still shows 3 available, so my luck they're long sold out and I'm out the money for who knows how long until they get more.

I emailed to ask them to refund the tax to me, hopefully they honour their sale.

I phoned them this morning and they said that 1000 rounds packs were sold out.
 
They just got back to me and confirmed it is a glitch on their website, they are out of stock on the AE .223 bulk pack. Said they expect stock in a few weeks, but sounds like they have some norinco in stock not up on the website yet, 1600 rounds for $399.99.
 
I just picked up a box of 1000 Federal (AE .233) from a local store (Grouse River in Kelowna) during their boxing week sale. Price was so-so at $399 but I did not have to pay shipping or wait for the next ammo shipment to arrive.

Reliable in Vancouver usually has it for 360, if your ever out that way.

It is entirely possible that Tina G (the Cashier on the receipt) is catching shiit right now, (or whoever did the mis-labeling) I just can't believe that one store would be selling it for so much cheaper than everyone else in the country. And as I said, you can't even get AE for that price in the USA (where ammo is on average 20% cheaper) so even with the receipt it's very hard to believe, and on the 7th of december too, clearly no boxing day sale yet, that's just such an amazing deal........
Did Tina at least get a reach around when you where done with her......LOL

Why is it so hard to believe he can get those ammo at that price?
Canadians are not panic buying right now, so there is no shortage yet..
Plus we can get cheap norinco ammo and the usa can not get it. Norinco are 31 cent a round..

Look at the rest of the prices across Canada, that's why. Maybe I'm just freakin nutz........but I searched a bunch of american websites and can't find AE for that price. The Norinco I was able to get was about 31-34c per round depending on where you got it yes, but AE is usually more than Norinco. I personally found and still find it hard to believe, I have been mis-charged for ammo before, and I'm sure I will be again.

If it happened it happened, and I suppose a pic of a receipt convinces me...... but it's still a hell of a deal, and he still has not said where this deal came from. I would just love to know! So would others. Perhaps it will happen again at a later date.

I said I was convinced!

But I still don't see the AE listed there, (I see AE on your receipt) but on the sale page you just hot linked I see this "MFS 223 Rem 55gr FMJ (500rd) $135.00"

am I just not seeing it? I'm tired today

For the record I did say I was convinced, it's just an insane deal, and I found it hard to believe.
