I just picked up some of the CCI "High Velocity" HP Shorts.
Decent pocket in these little suckers & the stated MV is 1105fps. They are WAY louder than the CBs and they hit pretty hard too. I kind of started wondering what niche they are intended for as I was loading them into my tube fed Mossberg 146B 21,22,23....28,29,30 :eek: Look out bunnies!
 
CB Longs in Ottawa?

Anybody know where I can get a brick or two of CCI or Remington CB Long type rounds in the Ottawa area? Nobody seems to have stock!
 
Bought a back of then from lebarrons not too long ago. The hay enough force to cycle my 10/22 and are a little louder in it then in my toz 16.
I also use cb caps in the toz and they are almost silent.
 
LOL! Ya Lebarons Ottawa is becoming famous for all the things they don't have. Like whatever you need in firearms, ammo, and especially manners from all but one gun room guy. You'd think that if they can't offer intelligence, they could at least offer politeness! All I can figure is, the kids on the gun counter all have daddies who own a piece of the store. Problem is, they're open every day, and close by, so I usually drop in a couple times a week. Just to see what they don't have.
 
I have a Hi-Standard olympic ( 22 short Rapic fire) pistol
that will cycle CB's - Handy.
P.S./ I have seen the CCI 's at crappy tire, at least in Sask.

I have the mag, feeds flawlessly (although manually). That way I only have to swap mags. If you wanted to go all out, there are 22 short barrels out there as well.
