I have several clip fed .22's-and shoot CB longs-but they are slightly shorter and don't feed well from clips[never had a tube fed .22]got to load them singly.I'm wondering if you could bend a peice of sheet metal in the form of a U to slip upside down inside of a regular clip to make a flat base to drop the CB long shells on-much like the single shot feature the old 303's had that pivoted on the side of the reciever.Right now I have to tip the rifle down, and drop the shell into the chamber, and a removable base on top of the magazine would make it much simpler.

I'd buy the remington product if it would feed from the magazine. The CB longs I have are just slightly shorter than a regular LR ,and the bolt won't pick them up and push them into the chamber

That's what surprised me; that finally someone (Remington) has now made CB's in long rifle, not longs like CCI & others; now no more feed problems as they are full long rifle length.
