CC in Canada..what would you carry?

I don't think I would carry anything, I'm annoyed my pockets seem full as is.

That said, what I would like is handgun hunting and being able to shoot in the back 40 or gravel pit.

Same... would love to hunt with one, wilderness carry for bear protection, and target shoot on my rural property safely with one.

Don't care much about CC but I guess if I had to pick I would go with a small, old school rinky dink pocket pistol in .22 short... toss it in the back of my backpack or cargo pants.

I would have a j frame smith in 38 loaded with the proper bullets for self protection. it is easy to cover up when traveling in high population areas and you do not spook the non cc people around you.

What I currently carry. The FNS9 gets carried a lot more.

Choices, choices .....

I can wear a 1911 all day at the range and not mind it. Same for any of my S&W 4" .357s. But - lately my S&W 2-1/2" snubs (stainless or blued) are my pets. I'm shooting them in IDPA against semi-autos and these little guns inspire confidence. Haven't shot them with magnum loads and don't intend to.

Just sold my M60 to buy another M19 snub. I found the M60 small even for my hands and it's 5 shot capacity is against it. Maybe OK for a hideout gun.

I see this thread was started back in 2011.... well... was just a little tiny maybe kind of hope then! But as the Pony said... cause its 2015... plus 2... I think all we will be able to do is dream! After all... this is Canada.. where if we have trouble.. we stick our head under a table and stick our ass in the air!

What is your holster for the full size ?

It's a foxx hybrid holster. I've had a couple so far and they're nice. Alien gear holster might be a little nicer and they have swappable shells which is cool.

Yes.

and so is not flushing the toilet after you go. In fact its the most pricey offense.

S&W J frame in 38 special snubbie, winter time in a shoulder holster.
Ruger LCP in the summer, ankle holster or inside waist band.

Might as well dream big!

Not to #### on your dream but why would you carry such a small pistol in a shoulder holster? If you were packing that around daily I suspect you would quickly drop it for a small IWB holster. The new J frames only weigh like 16 ounces.

Shoulder holsters are generally reserved for large guns.
