If I could carry a pistol I would probably choose a Beretta or GLOCK 9mm, if for no other reason then by saying so pisses off texdores.

I think you read the question wrong. It wasn't "How long is your ####?".
It's a hypothetical question about a scenario that is so far from being reality in this Country it's not even funny. The question is about as insidious as asking which celebrity you would bang if given the option.
Funny all us CDNs who have never actually carried a gun day in and day out spouting off how easy it is to conceal a full sized pistol and how we'd have a light fitted etc etc.
ALL the 'Mericans I know who do carry regularily, carry the smallest, cheapest pistol they can get their hands on. The Kel Tec's and like are the most popular because in the end lugging around a big chunk of angular metal inside your clothing all day really sucks.

I guess it depends who you know and what your own experiences are.

I'd carry a pocketknife in Toronto. Safe as safe gets.

Interesting topic Canada Carry has been druming this idea for sometime now but we never get any positive feedback especially in major Canadian cities. I believe if trained properly it could be a do able thing. In my opinion it would be a uphill battle in most large cities especially where the police service is contrary to the idea.
For what its worth my 0.2 cents.

I would probably rather open carry if possible. I would carry a Glock 17 with a 30 round clip. I don't think anyone would mess with me.
All kidding aside... for concealed carry I would like a Kahr PM9. They are ###y.
I would imagine the 10 round limits would still apply.
