CCFR Ultimate Choice Gun Giveaway III

Did I read the info correctly with respect to having to pay tax on the prize?
If you're talking about this:

2.8 All taxes, fees and surcharges on the Prize are the sole responsibility of the Prize winner.

It looks like standard legalese. It's not saying there are taxes (or fees or surcharges), it's saying if there are taxes etc., they're your responsibility.

Does the Essay have to be Hand Written and Snail Mailed in?
Or would original email submissions be accepted?

I too would like an answer to this.

Also, how strict is the 1000 word goal? If I only write 950 words will I be disqualified? What about going over? In university teachers would penalize you if you went over due to the inability to be concise...?

For those that entered did you get an email confirmation? I did not.

No email confirmation but the last page when done says thank you for your contribution , please print page for your records , or something to that effect. I just took a quick screenshot. Also it will show up on CC when it goes through anyway , I would assume if another payment method was used there would be record or email/statement of that.

How about you just donate the $25.
Handwritten essays don't pay the bills to fight for your firearms rights.

IF the CCFR didn't want consultation from the public on ideas on how to fight for better gun laws, they wouldn't have asked for them. The time and thought and benefit of a well written essay that can be used to advance a pro gun agenda is worth far more than $25.

Its not like they are asking for essays on why you need a new CZ shadow.
