CCI 200 Large Rifle Primers

I couldn’t find any locally so bought 500 Remington 9 1/2m and heard they were good $5/100
 
SFRC had some a couple days ago - I bought x,000

EDIT Nevermind - i see they are now out

I tried to buy some from Henry but he was limiting the amount per person...not sure if he is still doing that or not...was trying to get some for myself and a buddy and save shipping
Did not make sense to only buy a small amount

As for the Remington 9 1/2 LR primers, I am nearing the end of my brick of these and have had very good success with them. I had some Winchester LR standard primers some time ago and had to discard the whole lot when I was getting failed primers and etched bolt faces. This made me very unhappy. Might have been just that batch. My go-to LR primers have been CCI for some time, and I am just about out of these at this time too. Thanks again to all who responded. :)
 
Did you contact Winchester as they will refund you or replace them?
You are likely SOL if you tossed them unless you have gun damage as well.

Yes I heard the same about Winchester primer... some people told me that they were the only one to stay away from!
 
I stocked up a while ago as I could see a shortage coming. look at the prices they are paying in the usa, very scary. they are even talking about recharging used primers.

The bad ones were the brass LR + the LRM's.....the old wt box silver primers are fine.........lot #s are listed if one wishes to look them up.Bolt faces damaged on some guns with primer /leakage blow back.
