CCI 210 primers

Anyone know the difference between CCI 210 large rifle primers and CCI 200 large rifle primers? I think I screwed up when I bought them. I looked at the Large Rifle and didn't see the different number. I am reloading 308 Win and have been using 200 large rifle primers. I went to the CCI website and can't find 210 large rifle primers.

Never heard of them. Federal 210's, yes CCI 210's, No.

My screw up. I am have been using Federal No 210 large rifle. The new primers I got are CCI 200 large rifle. Are they the same?

They are both LR Primers but you should work back up to your load again as with changing any component.

"...Are they the same?..." Like CyaN1de says, they're both large rifle primers, but you have work up the load again. The CCI primers won't cause any safety issues though.

Went out to the range today. The CCI primers worked great. Must be my imagination but round seemed to snap as compared to the Federals. In the early stage of trials but the groups seemed to narrowing.

Try all the different primers you can find. They are another variable in the ammo your gun will like best.

The 210 is a bit milder than a 200. The 200 has a harder cup, so it won't show presure signs as well as the 210.
