Hello,

In both my Ruger 10/22 and Marlin 60 this ammo does not have enough power to push the bolt all the way back and eject the shell after shooting. I tried shooting many times and had to cycle the action myself every time, like a bolt action, to get it to the eject the shells. I probably tired 50 round through each gun and it did not eject on its own once. I have tried 5 different types of ammo other than this and have not had this problem at all. So now this ammo has been relegated to my little badger only. Anyway, im a newbie and just curious to see if anyone else has experienced this problem?

Thanks.

I use the CCI Quiet on my Marlin Semi auto Rifle 60SB and on my Beretta Neos 22 pistol, Works like a Dream. One of the Most accurate ammo i have used. Both cycle no problems.

Same size bullet as a Long Rifle load, at less than half the velocity.

Really, the surprise is that there are semi's out there that will cycle at with the stuff at all, let alone reliably.

Personally, I like using the stuff, but a fella has to understand what he is using.

Cheers
Trev

As others have mentioned, it isn't designed for a semi. There are aftermarket light springs available for the 10/22 but I am not sure if they will fix the problem, or what would happen if you use full power ammo with a light spring in place.

good old cb shorts in a lever gun... its the closest thing to having a suppressor in Canada :)

the cci quiet 22 40RG segmenting HP ones are FREAKING AMAZING!!!! by far the best round I have found for rat hunting!!! (it must be quite for me... otherwise I would use cci stinger lol...)

I grabbed a pack to run through my savage mark II. As long as you work the bolt slowly, they cycle fine, if you push the bolt closed quickly sometimes they'll jam in the top of the chamber.

Shoulda seen the look on everyones face when I fired the first one. I dont think the people with hearing protection on even heard it go off, but the people who did couldn't stop laughing.

Not made to function in semi's, but it sure is quiet!
