Ya, I didn't need any of this ammo. That's why I only bought small amounts of each, 600, 100 & 300 rounds respectively, to heap onto the pile.
Tenda still has stock on 12 gauge slugs. They had 00 buck on for Boxing Day too but that seems to be sold out. Orders over $300 get free shipping, ammo included.

How are the Winchester M-22 40gr solids? The 800 count boxes are on for $51.99 ($0.065 per round vs CCI above $0.083)
Less sound-barrier "buffeting"?
Buy in December-January, shoot galore in spring/summer/fall (okay, and in winter too!).
I am not the greatest shooter so for me they are good. I have only used M-22, CCI and Thunderbolt so as long as they fire and eject I am happy. I don't think the ammo will make a difference in my skill or lack thereof.

I have them, and have not had any problems. I used to always read online before buying, then gave that up. If I believed everything I read, I would never have bought anything. Also, if the product was so bad, would they still make and sell them. Yes, there was a recall a few years ago, but that is it. If you want them for plinking and such, you'll be fine.
Picked up a couple boxes of the CCI AR 22 ammo at the Calgary store but had to explain to them that it is indeed on sale which is rather strange and a little irritating. Their computer systems seem to occasionally forget what is actually on sale.........
Anyhow, once I educated them and showed them "their" web page we were good to go!
Looking forward to trying this stuff out in the rifle!!

Well... I ordered a 10/22 TD last week and I had no more 22lr here. Just ordered 2x 800 M22 rounds for 109$ ! what a steal...
At first, I was going for the Remington bucket, 1400 for 99$ for hey, free 400 rounds with that deal !

I picked some in Wpg yesterday. Same thing.... as usual sale price did not come up at the till. This has happened more times than I can count, so I ALWAYS am ready to show them the internet posted sale price (which they rarely can find on their own when doing a search as I stand there...and then they proceed to tell me there is no sale price.). It seems this is the only store where I have to do this....but the sale prices are worth it.
