CCI Blazer

Any number of shooters don't care for Remington's rimfire selection, but very few have tried their Game Load, a 36gr bullets that does very well in many of my 22's. FS

Tried Game Loads once, will never use them again due to 2 case blowouts (in a Mossberg 702 Plinkster semi auto) in 20 rounds. Not ammunition I'd consider safe.

I can easily get under .5" with Blazers at 25 yards in my stock Ruger 10/22. The smallest groups I've got with them are .31". The only thing that my rifle shoots better is Winchester Dynapoint. Neither have feeding or extraction problems.

I have to eat my plate of crow. I was out at the range today, and I bought a box of Blasers. They did shoot fairly well (although not my rifle's favourite load). It was the Stingers that I couldn't get to shoot worth a crap. I got the two mixed up.

I'm not surprised the Stingers might have baffled you :yingyang: - they often shoot to a different "point-of-aim" in rifles sighted for other rimfire ammunition....

Blasers shoot about 1" @ 50M for 10 shots out of my factory 10/22 barell, and also shoot decent groups from another 2 of my rimfires. I still haven't tried them in the new Kid heavy barrel I just put on that 10/22. I don't like the bare lead bullets either, but it's just a personal thing, since I haven't had any leading problems with them. Minimags shoot just as well in the same guns, and they have lubed bullets, so I prefer them.

Stingers are the best performing bullets in my Winchester M-77, but functioning-wise only. They are one of the most, if not the most, inaccurate load in 5 out 6 rimfires I own. I haven't tried them in the last one, but I wouldn't be surprised if they sucked in that one, too!

The Stinger's forte is terminal performance on varmints, so I've used them for hunting in the past. However, they're so inaccurate for me that it's not worth it using them for that anymore. Specially not after I discovered that Winchester Power Points game me the same terminal performance at a much cheaper price. And the Power Points also shoot around 1" @ 50M out of my 10/22 STD barrel (again, 10 shots).

in my gf's neos, i have found them to be quite dirty. the gun was clean when i started, but got fouled quickly. they fed through allright, some hangups usualy on the first round in the mag.
