Do I have to say some kind of prayer or secret code to find some of these! Geesh .... when is the madness going to end! Kidding aside if anyone has an inside tip PM me. Bench rest or plain vanilla 200's would be fine for me or vent your frustrations as well ... I"m here to listen ;)

Yeah just seems to be going on forever! Is it any better South of the border I wonder?

Not from what my friends down there tell me.

Maybe it depends on which part of the US you live?

They seem to be getting better supplies of powder and brass but the prices haven't come down by much.

I took a thousand Federal 215 and a thousand CCI 200 primers to the Kamloops gun show. I wouldn't break up the bricks, and I don't care if they sold or not.

It's going to be a while before we star seeing them again in any quantity and I don't expect to see prices getting any better

My local gunshop owner had a half dozen 100 count boxes of CCI200 out by his till for sale. He's charging $35/100 and will only sell them to you if you buy a pound of powder to go with them.

Like kamlooky says, they were being sold for $35/100 and of course everyone who asked didn't want to pay the sticker price.

There was a fellow in one hall with a box of Ginex primers at $40/100

I saw several of those in people's hands. Don't know what he sold them for.

I had to stop a dozen or more people from tearing off the tape I had sealing the box lids. When I was at the shows last year, people were pulling out 100ct boxes and half the box of primers would go missing. I've never seen that happen before.

$30 per hundred was the magic number for selling them.
I cleared a 1000 in short order.

The smaller primers were tuff to get $15 per 100.
Took a bunch home.

I have a brick I’ve just been sitting on. Picking away at all my other random sleeves of primers and ginex is have. Hoping that I find Some more one day. I decided it’s cheaper to just start plinking with .223, brick of SRP and 2 lbs of TAC still
Cheaper than a brick of LRP..

That’s just it, better off shooting srp or pistol cartridges and saving the lrp’s for hunting loads. I’m sitting on a bunch of cci lrp but will use up my fed lrp first.

At least spp and srp are easy to find and not as bad price wise.

Yessir, I haven’t even started tinkering with SPP or SPMs in my SRP cartridges. Got a couple bricks of SRP from Tenda couple months ago for like 90/brick. So I’m good for a while, I doubt I’ll kill that brick this summer. Not enough time to shoot that many rounds! Especially if I keep buying new guns haha

I had the foresight to put some away before the price hikes, not as many as I should’ve lol but I’m good for awhile if I’m smart about it. I’m having too much fun shooting pistols anyway, got lots of powder and pistol primers and factory hunting ammo for the 30cal’s. Just gotta find a .233 rifle and I’ll be occupied for the summer. At least 12g target load is still cheap.

Yea I picked myself up a 527 in .223 for plinking. Probably one of the better purchases I’ve made!

Was getting low on LRM, found some RWS LRM at a non sponsor, $280 shipped to my door for 1000, still not happy about the price, but I don't have too many magnums so they will last me a long time
