Do you know if they're the 40gr round nose or the 36gr HP?

Cabala's has 300 rd boxes for $29 I'm having them shipped to the store which means no shipping charge fyi. (not a good deal but at least its CCI)

I haven't seen these cans in what seems like forever...... I wish some of the online dealers would get some so I could order a couple for me and the kids to get out more.

Just got back from scoring a box for myself ...... only 6 left! BTW ...... they are 1600 rounds/case not 1400 so at $120 + tax = approx $135/1600 = approx 8.4 cents each taxes in which isn't too bad these days! I'm happy anymore to find 22 under a dime a shot (which is sad).

Cabelas has the CCI Mini Mag hollow points (Troy Landry edition, whatever that means) box of 300 for 27.99 - in stock online available for shipping.

They also have the Remington Golden Bullet "Bucket o' Bullets" - 1400 rounds - for $99.99 - in stock online available for shipping.

All through this "shortage" I've been able to get ammo... It might have taken a bit of poking around, but there's always someone who has some. The panic is overblown.

Yes but at what cost?
Goldenduds were $75 a bucket. Now $99
Again someones making coin off us Canadians!

Last time there was much supply of any of this, the Canadian $ was trading 20% or more higher against the American $.

No gouging on the part of the retailers. The Canadian $ is weak, imports cost more. So it goes.

Horse crap. Part of the problem is the dollar, but it's not the whole problem. Price gouging IS going on. By the looks of it, it's the distributors, not the end retailer.

One can left at Bass Pro as of 9:00am this morning.

Talking to the guy there, they only got eight of them in, and "when they're gone, they're gone. No more coming in.

Bright side - they have a bunch of CCI Mini Mag 100 round sleeves in 40gr and 36gr, as well as CCI stingers. Lost of other brands too.

Down side - still limiting purchases to 4x50, 2x100, or 1 bulk pack.

Havnt seen stingers for sale for almost 2 years now, if I were you i would go but some

There has to be gouging somewhere along the supply chain. How else to explain such price differences between retailers for the same product?

Example - Bass Pro in Vaughan Ontario had CCI Mini Mag 300 round Troy Landry "Choot Em" boxes for $25.99, while Gagnon in Oshawa Ontario and Bullseye in London Ontario had the same thing for $34.99.

So, are suppliers jacking up the prices on the "little guys"? Giving Bass Pro a better rate because of their buying power?
