CCI MiniMag 22LR EMPTY Plastic cases; Are they useful??

I wanted my 'premium ammo' in these 100 count containers also, but was unwilling to empty the good stuff onto the loading bench, then put it into the CCI box round by painful round. The good stuff is a bit greasy too, and I only want that on my hands once.

If you slide the 50 of the cartridges out bulletside up, then carefully slide the cheap plastic separator off, you can (just as carefully) slide the empty CCI box over them.

If you placed a thin piece of plastic ( I use an old debit card that came in the mail) you can flip the now half-full box over, slide the plastic lid over, and put another box of the good stuff inside of the other half.

I thought that it would be quite a coup, but everybody at the Club where I shoot uses the same sort of rimfire ammo, so not much advantage is had in hiding my source of ammo.

But the CCI box does allow for very controlled delivery on the range.
