I doubt prices will drop on them. Suppliers saw we would buy them despite the price hike, maybe only on the exchange rate, but i doubt an actual price drop.
 
When people post about guns and ammo from Canadian Tire I laugh because besides a few shotgun shells the CT in Grande Prairie has almost nothing no guns and very little ammo for sale. They are supposedly building a huge new one here soon maybe they will have a better selection then.
 
Canadian tire here in Southern Ontario (Georgetown) had a good selection today of 36gr CPHP and 40gr LRN in Aguila 50pk, CCI MM and Standard Vel., 500rd Federal Target, CCI shorts, Rem subsonics

I couldn't believe the ammo selection for a CT store in this area. And 30 guns on display in various calibers. Mostly 12ga and 22 though. They even had some youth 20ga mossys and 243 youth weatherbys

What were the minimags selling for? I found their prices pretty inflated. I saw some wildcats there for 2.99 during the drought, went in a week later and the same ones were 5.99.
 
Just bought 3 boxes of 300 rounds At crappy tire the other day. Bout $100 all in. Kinda steep but they shoot good outta my guns so I'll pay it. Plus I have several thousand other rounds for the more "fun" plinking n crap. So I don't have to feel guilty shooting the more pricey stuff.

I'm in Medicine Hat today and found several stacks of the same 300 round boxes for $31 a piece. Might grab a few more.
 
AlFlahertys has a good number of cci 40roundnose and 36 hollowpoint for 9.99 per 100box. Its nice to see the stuff filtering back in.
 
I have 2500 rounds of the target plinking 40g round nose coming from Reliable.I find these too shoot the tightest groups at 100yds in my Savage TR.The AR tacticle and 36g HP not as good,but every rifle is different.Shipping in BC from Reliable was $48 for 5k rounds as I'm splitting the order with a friend,so it was pretty reasonable.
 
Cabela's has the 300 pack Choot Em's for $25.99 with no limit on how many you can buy. They have tons of them in stock at the Edmonton Windermere store.
