Does anyone know where I could find some CCI BR4 small rifle primers. My stock is running low and can't seem to find more. I have tried everywhere I can think of and no luck so far. I am looking for 5000 Pcs.

I've been looking for BR-4 or any primers for over 2 years. I've tried all major stores across Canada and several big stores in the US as well as small independents in both Countries. The most common answer is Hoarding, I've never seen many or had my standing orders filled yet to convince me there's even enough out their to hoard. I e-mailed CCI last month and their reply was they haven't produced BR-4's for over 6 months due to sensitivity issues with their compounds!? I'm now reconfiguring my main loads with different primers I have to work up alternates.

Found 10,000 CCI small rifle primers in Calgary yesterday. I looked all over Alberta, Russel Sports, both Edmonton and Calgary Wholesale Sports, Bashaw Sports, Bass Pro, P&D had none, finally found two boxes at The Shooting Edge. I can't believe how hard it is to find components now, but they are out there still if you look hard enough.

good luck, with obama in down in the states the primer manufacturors are over drawn by about 300%. i have 150 remington benchrest primers of my own, im going to have to start using winchester small rifle primers instead as there are no br small rifle primers to be had anywhere that i can find.

I received 10,000 Rem 7.5 BR primers today. They should keep my 223 going for a few years. They are the only small rifle benchrest primers I was able to find. I located them at Cabelas thanks to jmiddy :D. I was originaly looking for CCI BR4 as I tought they would be easier to find. I settled on Rem 7.5 BR as they are the primers I am currently using and they were available. I have been happy with them thus far.

The UPS gus was nice enough to leave them on my front step for me to pick up when I got home
