So how would captive piston ammo be classified then? Last I was told, that was prohibited as a "silencer".

I've bought CB Long and Subsonic HP at a few different locations and usually paid $9-$10 for a 100 pack. I didn't even know you could buy a brick, but $38 would still be a better deal.

In the US each round is classed as a silencer and subject to a $200 tax .... per round. No idea how Canada would view CP ammo. Prob a moot point as the stuff is rarer than hens teeth.
