My kid is just about to get his PAL - I'd like to get him a "lifetime" gun. Something he can shoot when I'm long dust and still be happy with.
I'm thinking an ANSCHUTZ with a quality scope. It's a stretch for me financially - but you only get to buy something like that once.
We shoot CCI Quiets a lot, from cheaper guns I have got over time, and like them a lot. Great for (legal) hunting on the down low and plinking in the woods without upsetting the neighbours.
I've seen on the CZ website that they specifically do not recommend CCI Quiets for their guns because of the extra fine tolerances of the barrel (though that may be a bit of a humble-brag) so I was wondering if anyone has tried them with an ANSCHUTZ?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts / opinions.
