CCI Quiets?

Anyone here shoot cci quiets?

Looking to shoot them out of my cz452 varmint .

Are they dirty?

I don't really find them dirty, but I don't find them to be super-accurate either. Fun to plink with though.

they're not dirty and have worked well to help with rats in the barn... as said above, they're not very accurate with lots of fliers.

The CCI Quiets are definitely dirty when compared to CCI SV, but not that bad if compared to other brands

I shoot these by the thousands in all my rimfires for plinking. They can be accurate for punching paper, depending on firearm, but YMMV. For shooting groups and accuracy, you would not want to use the Quiets.

I didn't find them too dirty. I did notice some guns are very accurate with them, others not at all. Must be the rate of twist? It is a very low speed bullet.

My browning sa22 likes them, but only for the 30yds or less then they widen up quickly.

I agree with the not super accurate, fine for close in shots, crowd.

Shoot 'em all the time. No dirtier than anything else. Reasonably accurate out of my savage mkII

I find they are all over the place in my ruger American but very accurate in my marlin semi, but don't cycle of coarse.
I switched to cci quiet segmented in the ruger and they work great, very accurate. One is lead the other copper coated so maybe that is the difference.

I like them for some if the older 22's that may not be able to handle high velocity 22 shells...I broke a block on an old rolling block by using high velocity shells. Now it only shoots 'quiet' ammunition and it's accurate enough at the short ranges I shoot at.Great for pest control when you don't want to advertise you're shooting....they make about as much noise as a pellet rifle..

I've shot them out of my CZ Varmint and would say they are 'accurate enough' at distances less than 25 yards and I didn't find them too dirty. I tried a few boxes when the LGS ran out of CB Longs. FWIW, I didn't find them that much quieter than the CB Longs. YMMV...

They contain about 0.5 grain(s) of powder.
There have been occasional reports of the bullet lodging in the barrel of a CZ.
Sighted in at 50 yards with SV the Quiets will drop 4-5 inches below the SV's.

Ran some through my Ultra Lux. Very careful to notice the target, haven't had one fail to exit. Less noise than the average springer air gun. Accuracy only fair at 20 yrds, drop lots. The long bbl really slows them down. Prob work good in the Scout, short bbl like the mentioned Badger.

I've got most of a 100 pack of lead bullet CB Longs that are even quieter by quite a bit.

i can actually SEE them going down at the target through the scope.

Picked up a brick of these for plinking on the new property, can't wait to try them out.

Work good in a shorter Mossberg plinkster bolt, I use them for squirrels when the boss is asleep after night shift. Had one stay in a squirrel's chest and not pass through, must've been like getting hit with a cannonball!
