Looking to buy at least several cases of this ammo but I'm having a hard time sourcing any dealers who have it. SFRC says he has some but hasn't responded to my inquiry as to price. Who has it at a decent price and has ample supply of it?

FYI, Blazers aren't the same and I'm only interested in the SV.

I often find it at the local Canadian Tires, and buy all they have when I do.

There's (1) CT store about 100km away that stocks several boxes at a time. I buy all they have when I'm in the area but it's expensive and I've heard of others offering decent discounts when buying in volume. My initial thought was to buy at least (2) cases, possibly (3).

I'm tired of scrounging for something as basic as rimfire ammunition. I'm prepared to buy lots of it in order to save myself aggrivation in the future.

I'm in Nova Scotia. Mail order is my only solution at this point so I know I'm going to be raped by shipping costs. That's why I'm prepared to order the quantity that I am. To spread the shipping costs out as much as I can.

Recall paying $25 at Italian last yr for a brick. The GSG 1911 sure don't like them with lots of FTE.

What firearm is this good for?
or are folks using it for reduce noise?

It works very well in nearly all of my rimfires. It didnt work in my CZ, but that was a crap rifle for accuracy anyway. It is an awesome choice for all the modern Savage rimfires I have ever owned/shot.

I am up towards yarmouth way ....our canadian tire sells alot of this round....I was wondering if you been to the place in lantz ? they have alot of stuff not sure on service as I was only in once and got impressin i wasn't important LOL

Hi 2bad4u2, if you're still looking for some CCI SV .22LR Reliable Gun had some last December and it is still listed on their website at $25.99/brick. I would imagine about $250 a case and $30 for shipping via Canpar; likely a little more for shipping several cases. They are a site sponsor and have an ad at the top of the page.

Hi burnaby, SV .22LR ammo is used primarily for target shooting. There are a few semi-auto target pistols designed to work with SV. Most semi-auto .22LR pistols are designed for high velocity (super sonic) ammo. Target rifle shooters that want absolute accuracy beyond 70 yards or so like SV as it will not pass through the transonic zone.

If you want low noise, the CB would be a better choice, unless you're allowed to use a suppressor. ;)

My local store carries CCI SV for $5.99/100 and discounts bricks and cases... they will also order it in on request... so try to get a local CCI dealer to order you a case or two.
