I shot CCI Stingers for the first time on Saturday in my 1911-22-A1 and my SR-22...LOVE THEM!
I plan on upgrading the barrel in my SR-22 for better accuracy, but I'm wondering if keeping the sporting chamber, even if I do change my barrel, will nullify the accuracy advantage I'm seeking with the new barrel.
my plan was to get the 16.5" Dlask .920 bull barrel, but ask them to ream it to a sporting chamber rather than keeping the bentz chamber, as they don't like the Stingers.
would I benefit in accuracy if I get the new barrel but the more forgiving chamber?
thoughts?
