I thought some of you might find this interesting.

I went shooting today and i was shooting at 500 yards, ammo used was

CCI Stingers, 32gr 1640fps
Blazers, 40gr 1235fps

At 500 yards the point of aim was the same to hit the target.

Do you find better accuracy with subsonic CCI standard velocity? I'm very curious how much of the effect or deflection at 500 yards when a supersonic finally goes subsonic?

The CCI SV has been the most accurate out to 200 yards but with my scope set up i can not shoot out to 500 with it. just drops to much to see where its going because im holding over the target so much i can not see it

In a few days i will be able to with a new base i am getting, It is a variable gantry mount

I'm very curious to see your results. When you are setup. I'd really appreciate you doing a comparison of CCI SV and CCI Mini-mag (40gr solid point).

I really like the Mini-mag but i worry about it deflecting when going subsonic.

Anyway, your doing some really good work here:D Keep it up!

I believe CCI Blazer and CCI Mini mag shares the same spec except for the copper plating for the Mini Mag.

I'm not an expert, but i believe the differences are greater.

Blazer has lube and a different primer.

Mini mag has copper wash as lube and a better primer.

I am not sure on any of this, so please discuss and correct me if i'm wrong.:)
