CCI Subsonics in Sig Mosquito

I know that the cci minimags are the best round for the mosquito, but has anyone tried putting the cci subsonics through it? or do you think it has enough to work the action on it?

I have used subsonic CCI CB Longs in my Beretta 71 and it would not cycle. I know they are not the same gun but that may give you an idea. Their point of impact dropped by several inches too at 20 yards.

Certainly have. Pistol becomes a manually operated repeater not enough force to work semi-auto. Also, can't hit #### with them.

I don't recall exactly, I only shot five through it and gave up, they were lame.

CCI .22 Long Rifle Subsonics with a 40gr HP bullet cycle my Ruger 22/45 with no problem. They also cycle my 10/22 without issue as well. You may want to try some of those in your Mosquito. I wouldn't mind trying CCI's new 40gr Segmented HP Subsonic round if I can find any.

FWIW, CCI CB Long do not cycle in my 22/45, accuracy is fine. The lack of recoil is obvious.

I never actually tried it, but it's a good question.

Mosquito's are so ####ing picky that I probably wouldn't bother, but than again if you know of somewhere where they are cheap(er), I might buy 100 just to try.

would cutting the recoil spring shorter help or is that just a bad idea in general?
