CCS stocks??

Howdy Gadget,

I did actually handle the Tomahawk stock @ SHOT - sorry I didn't get a chance to say "hello", but your booth was very busy! In any case, I had kind of lumped the new/improved Troy stock in with all of the other new PDW stocks from BAD, Maxim, etc. For some reason it seemed like the buffer tube on the Tomahawk was longer than that of the Maxim Defense product, resulting in a longer "collapsed" package. That was where I lost interest. That, and I don't have one of my own to evaluate and photograph! Anyhow, I certainly could be wrong about the Buffer Tube length. The Tomahawk is a definite improvement over any of the stocks (including the Troy version) that use a proprietary BCG. Kudos to Troy for offering folks the option of a "shortest possible" stock with proprietary BCG or the new Tomhawk that takes a standard BCG in a slightly longer package. Personally, I'd take the Tomahawk over the Troy PDW stock in a heartbeat...

I bought the troy pdw stock
Very high quality
I was a little worried about changing uppers from 7.5 ( 5.56 ) to 8.5 ( 300 blk ) to 14.5 (5.56 ) with the proprietary
BCG.
Absolutely no issues what so ever even with handloads.
It is comfortable to shoot even with wire stock and meat tenderizing butt pad.

I would recommend to anyone
