I am trying to help a non-internet savvy chap locate a source for A-Square 300 "Pegasus" and 338 Excalibur brass. He wants to do as little as possible when it comes to re-loading, so a source for this prepared brass would be appreciated!

Cheers,

Ian

A square was back in business last I heard, in Kentucky. Art Alphin no longer owns the company, I believe his chief 'smith bought him out. Might try there. Other then that, form dies, a small lathe, and 416 Rigby or 30-378/338-378/378/416/460 Wby brass and start trimming and forming. - dan

I bought 338-06 A Square from Wholesale in Edmonton a little over a year ago. Not sure if they stock all the time but it may be worth a call. I would think P&D would try and get it in for you. It was pricey. Seems to me it was like $60.00 for 20.

Pegasus and Excaliber were never really commercial rounds. Tough to find no matter what. I would start with a phone call to A Square, see if they have a Canadian distributor, or maybe order direct. They also have a very interesting load manual, if you can find one. I must have brought a dozen back with me over the years for friends. - dan
