I used the same chrony to get my known velocities last fall.

I know it was right because 2 chrony's showed same velocities when I tested and it was at/near the velocities I had expected. Actually, velocities were EXACTLY what I had expected with the load I was testing avg'd over 10 shots.

It's not rocket science to have a predicted velocity with a given load. Quickload does a very good job of giving real world velocity predictions.

Sometimes Quickload is very close,and sometimes it isn't.Quickload can't compensate for powder lot variations,or for variations in chamber ,throat,or internal barrel dimensions.
