What is a good ratio of walnut to brass?
How long should a batch take?
My brass is coming out slick feeling, too much NuFinish?
Should I wash out the clean brass to get rid of any dust/slick feeling?

I'm sure you'll get a dozen different answers to this.
I use a 50/50 mix of crushed walnut and corn cob. Corn cleans; walnut polishes. I also use a cap full of Dillon polish but before that I was using Nu Finish for years. I used to just let gravity pull some out of the bottle for about 2 seconds or so; the polish stays with the media and since I re-use the media over and over, it was always "treated", so to speak.
I leave mine run for about 2 hours in my Dillon tumbler. With my Lyman it was between 3-4 hours, depending on how dirty it was.
I never measured how much media to use: I'd fill up the tumbler about 1/2 way and then pour media over the brass until the tumbler was full, then run it. I sort the media out when finished and keep it for the next batch I run, then just dump it back in. As long as you're loading the same amount of cases, more or less, you'll be GTG.

Just like Melnibonean already said, I fill about half way with crushed walnut, then dump in the brass and turn it on. Top of with more media if needed.
I don't time it, but generally will let it run 3-4 hours anyway, sometimes longer.
I might be a little obsessive about clean, shiny brass and I know it's not necessary, but the machine does the work (not me) so I couldn't care less how long it sits in there.
Used dryer sheets thrown in the media help control dust. You can also take an old towel, spread out the clean brass on it, fold the towel over itself and roll the brass around for a couple seconds. This removes any leftover walnut dust.
Don't worry about the slick feeling, that's just the wax and if anything, helps feeding through the dies.
