Can someone explain to me what this new style center axis relock grip and position is? thumbs are up? one elbow up, one elbow down? canter? wtf?

I saw some diagrams but i am confused, maybe Im a slow mouth breather

I'm feeling john wick inspired tonight, but not to the point as getting a glock...

It's been around a long while, it is a real thing and meant for dynamic close quarters. Sabre Tactical has a reasonable priced online course that has a book / guide download and video course. Production quality is low, but it's good material. There are a lot of positives and some negatives / pros / cons , not really negatives - just trade offs like everything in life. You'll learn ambi shooting using dominant and non dominant eye, see shooting on the move, close quarters and room clearing in a new light.

If you see at a lot of inexperienced shooters online using CAR, you'll see they're not really using a 'key' grip and have an awkward bent wrist, also really high elbows. This isn't the way it's done .. body position permitting.

Dont. Just... don`t.
It`s meant for movies and tactical mall cops.

+1 - essentially useless unless you're living in a fantasy world where there are no consequences. It's slower at contact range and less accurate at conflict range - you might as well invest the time in training for point shooting out to 50m. Incidentally, no one in the real world uses it. Not SEALs, not Delta, not SAS, not US Secret Service, not FBI - not anyone.

^have you guys tried it, and understand it? Yes, good, then I'll accept your opinions. They've had a fair amount of training in Brazilian military and police over the years that I know of.
