Maybe a little more money, but I got a Savage 25 Lightweight Varminter Thumbhole, and will NEVER get rid of it!!! You should really look into it...

Shot the savage recently at a demo day, seems pretty good.
I don't care for the trigger on the axis guns, i've been spoiled by the accutrigger, but as far as function goes they work, goes bang every time, is more accurate than i am. Only other gripe is that the bolt handle comes up quite high. I had to use a taller set of rings then i normally do and even then it was a tight squeeze. I have a set of the butler creek flip up covers that come on the scope and i had to take the cover completely off to work the bolt.
