Hi guys,

Anybody here have any first-hand experience with CenterPoint scopes. They're sold by WallyWorld in the U.S. and are carried by (and seem popular with) online airgun dealers. The few online comments about them (that I was able to locate) are generally quite positive.

I just ordered/purchased a CP 6 x 32 compact scope (with AO) for my AR15. The specs (and those online comments) would seem to indicate that this scope can do almost all of the things that those megabuck AR-specific optics can do and (of major importance) it looks like it belongs on that rifle!

I believe that the company is owned by Crosman.

I posted the same question on CGN's Optics forum and got a zero response.

I believe they are owned by crosman also. I have cheap centrepoint 4x32 that I got a crappy tire......I had this scope mounted on my phantom springer and it and didn't have any issues. It is on my savage Mark II right now and does the job.

I have a 3x9 x 40mm Leapers mil-dot IR on my HW80K/.22 The centre dot is sighted in at 20 yards on 9x and each dot below add 10 yards.Popcans at 50 yards boringly easy.Great for sniping crows and gophers..................Harold.....D+L carries these in Langley BC

I shoot a Leaper on a model 48 Diana. If any thing is going to break a scope it will. It had done me fine. I really like it. I have also heard good things centre point, just be sure they can take the reverse recoil.

I have one on a single shot .22, 3-9x40AO. It's big, and heavy, with pretty clear glass and repeatable windage. It was cheap and it's held up well. They are made in China, and are as good as any other made in China scope.....but that's about it.

Nice rig ...

Thanks for the reply. That looks like a very accurate "single-shot .22" ... I have a Leupold Ultralight EFR on my 64-actioned Anschutz sporter ... and your rig looks just as purty and purposeful. :)
