Kirbster, in order to purchase a gun like the Sarsilmaz, you have to be familiar enough with the construction of the shotgun to assess how well a particular example is made. There is no real quality control applied to these guns, and one example may be perfectly acceptable, while another may have trigger problems, or bolting problems, or any number of other difficulties. If your dad is fully capable of evaluating the various mechanisms he may find a good gun. If he is not comfortable doing that (few are) then I would advise him to pass. There are many inexpensive guns on the market that have much better quality control.
