Century 303's

The Centurion was a Bubba'd P14, the other 2 were respectively Bubba'd Swedish Mausers and Bubba'd various Enfields. Bubba worked for Century for quite a while.

Thanks for reminding me...I bought one of those from International Arms, an actual Jungle Carbine that they had dipped in flat black paint and clad in an aftermarket sporter wood set...the stock barrel inletting had a 1/4" gap on one side, touched the barrel on the other side...it was such a POS that I returned it for a refund after two days, I couldn't stand the sight of it.
 
"...another sporter conversion..." Yep. However, Century assembled more No.1's and No.4's out of parts bins with no QC whatsoever than any other company. Any firearm that passed through their hands should be thoroughly checked by a smithy.
 
My Centurion 300 Winchester magnum on an Enfield action with the synth stock and a 4X Leupold on it works great. It is my go-to black bear, moose and elk rifle and not too shabby for deer hunting either.

As mentioned these were sold by Century, Century International here in Canada. They made sporters on P14s, P17s, K98s (various makes of Mausers), Swedes etc, etc, etc. The prices were good, and most of the ones sold in Canada were done over in Montreal.
They were a good bargain for sure.
 
I've handled a Centurion in .300 Win Mag, a synthetic stocked version of the Swede and saw a wood stocked version being purchased by another gentleman. The looked like decently sporterized rifles and were sold at a reasonable cost. I really miss the original rifles though!
