I have a handgun that is in bad shape. Got it from someone who wanted to get rid of it by giving it away to the police so I decided to give it a good home. It's a .38 special ruby and I was thinking of giving it a treatment of Cerakote. The exterior is badly pitted but the bore is very good. Does anybody know where I can buy the stuff or if I have t send the gun to someone to get it done

I know where you can send it but it is not cheap. Maybe if you sent just teh prats all prepped and ready it might be worth your while.

rgwhitman (cgn name) is a NB gunsmith, he did a shotgun for me and it looks great!
