Does anyone know the exact composition of the Beaver Bart Wood Chip Resin?

I'm very interested in finding out what type of glue/resin was used to make the Beaver Barf Wood-chip Furniture


Please let me know what resin was used

I don't know for certain, but it has the look and feel of a phenolic compound, such as the ubiquitous phenol formaldehyde.

This is consistent with the timeframe of adoption, as we saw phenolic plastics become common during WWII, and they are often found on soviet guns from the immediate postwar period, such as the AKM pistol grip and AK magazines. But by the 1970s glass-filled nylon and polyesters start to displace that material.

bakelite is phenol formaldehyde resin.
