CF Bisley Team

Jc,

You need to be selected based on participation and results from the Canadian Forces Small Arms Competition.

That competition is being held at Connaught Ranges in about 2 weeks or so.

Drop me a PM if you want more details on the competition, or do a DWAN search for CFSAC under DAT (Directorate of Army Training.)

Did any of the team take part in either the Mc Queen or Match Rifleover on Stickledown, 2 of my close friends did and one of them a Kiwi lad gained silver at 1000, 1100 and 1200 yards. Now thats a long way!

i was there back in 2003, but i was part of a Reserves team, so it probably wasn't the same competition. We were shooting the SA-80 mainly with a little bit of pistol stuff as well as their LSW (just a beefed up SA-80 at the time). We were mainly at the Pirbright base, which i think is right in the same area. Anyways, good luck to all that are going!!

also, watch out for those sneaky Americans, during one of our shoots where you had a short time to get off 15 rnds (5 in one mag and 10 in another) our captain was counting rounds, because some of the teams weren't getting all their rnds down range, and apparently one of the U.S. teams had more rounds then there were alotted.
